Who We Are
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to give adolescent girls ages 9-18 the power to reach their full potential by developing healthy attitudes, behaviors, and lifestyles through comprehensive, gender-specific programming, experiences, and relationships.
Our vision is that girls will experience a holistic transformation of emotional, physical, behavioral, and spiritual well-being. They will transition into womanhood with a renewed sense of self-worth and become self-sufficient members and role models for their communities.

Our Approach!
Our strengths-based approach to programming provides an opportunity for girls to develop a comprehensive understanding of what their individual needs are, how risk factors have influenced their everyday choices, and how their issues have affected relationship building with others. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental, environmental, and educational constructs that aid in shaping who they are while recognizing whose they are and the destiny they will come to inherit once equipped with the appropriate tools for living a full and healthy life.
Out of Bounds Core Values
1. Family Participation
We are committed to the families of the girls we serve. It would be naive to believe that working solely with our girls is enough. Everyday, they return to environments that are not conducive to the promotion of healthy living and esteem building. Our holistic approach will allow us to work both directly and indirectly with the families to create a safe, nurturing environment for our girls.
2. Balanced Women
We believe that increasing the knowledge and understanding of God’s grace, mercy, and love; Enhancing the power and authority of our girls’ voices and choices to promote responsibility and accountability, independence, and wholeness as balanced women of God; Aspiring girls to live a Christ centered life, thus becoming a role model for their peers, communities and the world; Fostering sisterhood that crosses age, racial, and cultural barriers.
3. Assessment
Feedback and evaluation from our stakeholders and outcome measurement hold OUT OF BOUNDS accountable for the effectiveness and stewardship of our mission.
4. Outreach
Collaborations and partnerships with individuals, community organizations, and businesses are vital to the delivery of quality services and aid in the keeping of our mission.
